Operating costs have increased by 80% over the past five years. The city has been gracious in providing approximately 75% of the total operating funds required. In 2014 - 2018 additional capital and operating funding will be needed. An increased demand for service and expansion of our services has put an extra burden on the taxpayers. The Disabled Transportation Society will be soliciting additional sponsorship from our corporate citizens.

Our second largest sponsor. The DTS presently extends service to 5 KM outside city limits. We now serve the hamlet of Clairmont. Thank you to  The County of Grande Prairie for kindly providing a grant toward the operating costs.

Swan City Rotary Club of Grande Prairie

The Cars for Christmas Mega Lottery is brought to you by the Swan City Rotary Club and benefits 12 local non-profit organizations, including The Disabled Transportation Society.
In addition, a Rotary contribution has enabled us to upgrade our restraint systems on the some of our older buses.
Two grants from the Alberta Loteries assisted in the purchase of new buses and increase service.
